The Republican Party celebrated its 35th anniversary at a reception with numerous leaders, members, and supporters.

In his speech on the occasion, Mediu focused on the values ??and ideas on which the philosophy and activity of the Republicans rests.

"The Republican Party was built on some clear values ??and ideas. First, the family. Property, because it gives us freedom and the opportunity to build happiness and the future. The nation, because it gives us identity. Economic freedom and, indisputably, the rule of law. These are not slogans, but realities that established the political freedom of the right and have established a good foundation for the future of Albania, which, unfortunately, with the socialist government is being endlessly destroyed," said Mediu.

The media also remembered one of the founders of PR, Sabri Godo, while sharing a message from him. 

"Those who created this party, led by Sabri Godo, left us a simple message, but also a great one: Politics is service and responsibility, to listen and not just speak, to love your country," said Mediu.

The meeting was also attended by the chairman of the Democratic Party and the opposition coalition, Sali Berisha, as well as representatives of opposition parties./ CNA
