The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke at today's rostrum at Kombinat about Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements on the closure of RTSH.

Berisha said that he “may have appointed a certain Carlo Bollino” to give it to RTSH. Among other things, he said that the opposition will do everything to protect the national television.

"He has certainly appointed some Carlo to give him RTSH. But I hope and believe in the employees and the opposition will react as they did with the theater. All countries in Europe have national televisions, he will surely give it to him or someone else. Absolutely 42 banalists come to the studio to deceive the citizens and protect Edi Rama. Now he has his eye on RTSH, he gives the license to someone, he builds a tower there, but we will do everything to protect it ," said Berisha.

A few days ago, Prime Minister Edi Rama harshly criticized the Albanian Public Radio Television (RTSH), questioning the functioning and quality of its service. Rama said he had requested the temporary closure of RTSH, while emphasizing that the television must undergo reform before returning to broadcasting. /CNA
