Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi, when asked about Sali Berisha's withdrawal from the party leadership, stated that the statute is clear.

Këlliçi stated that the Democratic Party's statute provides that the chairman leaves when he loses the election, but May 11 was not an electoral process according to him.

The Democrat declared that May 11 was an electoral farce and the DP's goal is to show citizens that there is no longer a government, but a criminal group.

 

 

"The statute is clear. A party leader leaves when he loses the elections. We cannot recognize May 11 as an election, it was a farce. The scandals of this government are so big, we are 100% focused on explaining to citizens that we no longer have a government, but a criminal group ," said Këlliçi./CNA
