Sula: Rama has kept his mouth shut about Veliaj, Berisha unscrupulously defends

Former Democratic MP, Dashnor Sula, commented today on the situation with the opposition candidates for the Municipality of Tirana.

Invited to Euronews Albania, Sula said that the biggest problem for the Democrats is the placement of names according to interests. 

Sula adds that while Prime Minister Rama has chosen to remain silent in recent days on the Veliaj issue, Democratic Leader Berisha has come to his defense.

"The problem is not with the candidate. This was seen in the May 11 elections. The biggest problem was the closed list, which did not produce votes and which is 250 thousand votes less than in 2021. Until 2027, how much water will flow. According to Mr. Berisha's calculations, according to the interests of the moment or certain things, he will hold other positions, he is a master at covering up his situation.
