The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, commented today regarding the possibility of Erion Veliaj winning the case in the Constitutional Court.

In a statement to the media, Berisha said that if Veliaj wins the case, it will be a gift from Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"I comment on it as a decision of the judges who in this case applied the law, but also as a gift that Rama, who knows no law or morality, unwittingly gave to his main opponent within the party. He treated him as a serial killer in the party. So much so that I, who I don't even want to see, was forced to defend him. In that way, he violated the Convention on Rights, the Constitution and the laws against prisoners. He gave Veliaj the advantage," Berisha said. /CNA
