Berisha continues to defend Veliaj/Calls him courageous

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has continued to defend the former mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

In his speech at the DP leadership meeting, Berisha again said that his human rights were violated.

The leader of the Democrat Party even called Veliaj courageous. Referring to Veliaj's session at the Constitutional Court, Berisha said that the former mayor of Tirana made a courageous statement, comparing the Socialist Party to the Colombian Army, called FARC.

" Erion Veliaj's views in the Constitutional Court are like the trial of Kadri Hazbiu. Veliaj boldly compared his party to the Farc of Colombia. I absolutely do not have even the slightest feeling that Erion Veliaj is an innocent person. Veliaj is a person who is being held in prison for a minimum of 1/100 of what he has stolen and squandered.

Human rights were brutally violated, the same tactic was used against Kadri Hazbiu.
