Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu says that the Meta-Berisha agreement indicates a failure in the upcoming elections.

In the show "Now" on Euronews Albania Spahiu said that the choice of a candidate like Dr. Ilir Alimehmeti for the Municipality of Tirana is done so that tomorrow no one will be held responsible for the loss.

According to him, Alimehmet's candidacy for Tirana Municipality is 100 percent certain, but he is only the alibi for the defeat of Meta and Berisha.

"It is an agreement to choose someone outside of PD and LSI so that they do not bear any responsibility for the loss. To say that Dr. Alimehmeti was a good guy, but we are throwing him away because we don't need him. They are choosing the alibi of defeat. Just to see Meta from a party with 22 deputies went to 4 and now he is not even running for mayor, he is looking for municipal councils. They took a hot potato and threw it at each other," said Spahiu.
