"Today we stand side by side"/ President Begaj thanks the USA

President Bajram Begaj was present today at the activity for the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Albania and the USA.

During his speech, Begaj expressed his gratitude for the continuous support of the USA, while emphasizing that friendly relations will continue.

" It is a special pleasure that today we celebrate the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations with the United States of America, our largest strategic partner.

A moment of our history is related to the past, present and future of these relationships.

Rol të rëndësishme në krijimin e këtyre marrëdhënieve e ka luajtur Presidenti Uillson, i cili ka fituar mirënjohjen e gjithë zemrave shqiptare.

Fan Noli bashkë me Konicën dhe Vatranët e tjerë, besonin fort në politikën amerikane të kohës dhe vunë gjithçka patën në shërbim të miqësisë dhe bashkëpunimit midis dy vendeve.

Presidenti Uillson, u bë mbrojtësi më i fuqishëm i pavarësisë dhe mos copëtimit të trojeve të Shqipërisë në Konferencën e Paqes në Paris.

Këto 100 vite konfirmojnë vendosmërinë për ta vazhduar bashkëpunimin, në kohë të vështira e të mira, në momente kyçe të historisë, në sfida të sigurisë e paqes në rajon dhe në botë.

Sot ne qendrojmë krah për krah partnerit tonë strategjik amerikan dhe punojmë së bashku në fusha me rëndësi jetike.

The results in reformation, transformation and good governance, as well as in strengthening the institutions of justice, diplomacy, security and defense and the rule of law, have transformed our country into a partner that fulfills a coherent, constructive and diplomatic role. "said Begaj.

Furthermore, he said that " Thanks to the generous and unreserved support of the United States of America, Albanians today are a factor of geopolitical importance in the Balkans. The support of the USA is invaluable for our national cause. With the same principles and with the same determination with which Albania was supported 100 years ago, Kosovo was also supported for the declaration of independence ."/ CNA.al
