Former Democratic Party candidate for MP, Aulon Kalaja, invited to a television appearance, spoke about electoral reform.

Kalaja called the Electoral Code an old jacket, for which he said that the DP and the SP are pooling their votes to patch it up.

Further, Kalaja stated that the Electoral Code should be changed.

Regarding the unification of the SP-PD votes, Kalaja said how the opposition can do this when it has requested the dismissal of the Speaker of Parliament and the President and has called May 11 an electoral farce.

" The wounds of May 11th have not healed, we have called it an electoral farce and we join the votes with Rama for the patching of the Electoral Code. We have an old jacket and they sew it up every time. The jacket needs to be changed, a new jacket is needed, because this no longer suits Albania. Sit down every time there is an election and review the electoral code."

It is not a moral moment to link the opposition with the majority. Has it been discussed with the small parties? What penalized the DP for the May 11 elections ," declared Kalaja./CNA
