Electoral Commission/ Shehaj is firm: We will not sit still even if they give us

The chairman of the "Mundësia" Party, Agron Shehaj, spoke about electoral reform in a television appearance.

Shehaj said that the current situation is bad, but with the changes that are expected to be made, it will become even worse.

The leader of the "Mundësia" Party stated that the two main parties sit at one table, as if nothing had happened between them.

Regarding his party's participation in the commission, Shehaj said that he would not accept it even if they were given 20 deputies in exchange.

 

" This is not a matter of what they will do. The one we have is bad, but the one they will do is much worse. As if nothing had happened, they both come out with a statement saying we will meet, we will change the Constitution. 5 months ago this was unimaginable. And if they tell me we will give the Opportunity Party 20 deputies, I will not sit down. In Albania we see it as normal that these people sit at a table to benefit" , said Shehaj./CNA
