The head of the Central Elections Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, considers the decision of KAS to be right regarding the complaint made by the two sides of the Democratic Party, regarding the registration for the local elections of May 14.

In an interview with the journalist Endri Xhafo, Celibash said that he would stick to his decision firmly and that according to him everything will be decided tomorrow. 

Celibashi: KAS në vlerësimin tim mori vendimin që duhet pasi vendimi i KQZ-së për t’i dhënë 48 orë kohë për plotësimin e dokumentacionit, nuk ishte një vendim i themelit. Ishte një vendim procedurial që i jepte një afat më të gjatë për të plotësuar dokumentacionin. Mbi këtë fakt, duke mos qenë një vendim përfundimtar, KAS vendosi që të mos marrë në shqyrtim. Kërkohet që të respektohet ligji rigorozisht në pikëpamje të numrit të dokumenteve, llojet të dokumenteve. Ato janë parashikime të ligjit, është ligjvënësi për t’i vendosur këto rregulla. Për KQZ detyrimi është për t’i respektuar si janë shkruar.
