Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the premiere of "Tirana from the Air", spoke about the transformation of the capital from the 90s to today.

Rama said that Tirana has come out of the terrible sludge, while declaring that in the next 5-6 years there will be an even greater transformation.

He emphasized that Tirana will become an architectural destination, the most attractive metropolis of the Western Balkans and the European capital of the entire region.

"This is the story of a city that has not told everyone. I believe that in the next 5-6 years, what we see will be a part, not most of what we will see, because there are still many projects, desire, ambition and a kind of competition that has entered into the spirit of entrepreneurship that to make buildings not just good, but also beautiful, giving Tirana the opportunity to become an architectural destination. A place in the middle of the Balkans that will have a collection of works of architecture brought together by the best architects of this time and will create a legacy worthy of other generations. I have no doubt that if today we feel the satisfaction that we have come out of that terrible scum where we opened the new century in Tirana, tomorrow we will be residents and citizens of one of the most beautiful capitals of Europe. Tirana will be the most attractive metropolis of the Balkans and will be the European capital of our entire region," Rama said./ CNA
