This afternoon, Prime Minister Edi Rama stopped in Lushnje, where he held an electoral meeting for the May 14 elections.
Rama said that Albania's allies no longer want to cooperate with the head of the "Together We Win" coalition, Sali Berisha, as he claims that he is a stigmatized face.
Using this argument, he urged citizens not to vote for the opposition in Sunday's elections.
"On May 14, there will really be a vote to choose the person who will be in charge of affairs, to serve the citizens. There will also be a vote for the honor and dignity of this flag that we hold in our hearts. On May 14, it's a choice not simply between our candidates and the mask of blackface branded by the US. What is offered to them as an alternative is a great shame for Albania, which today enjoys the greatest support from its strategic allies than ever before.
