Prime Minister Edi Rama gave an interview today to the renowned architecture and design magazine "Dezeen".

In the interview, Rama recounted the reasons that push him to pay attention to these aspects in the country, which connect urban planning, lifestyle, and art.

Rama expressed his belief in the power of architecture to make positive changes in Albania.

"An architecture festival is more important than a political summit. I believe very much in architecture and in the power of architecture to influence the way we live. I think that for a country like Albania, good architecture is an uplifting presence and is a source of additional energy for society and for the way we envision our future. For me, an architecture festival is more important than a political summit. It is a celebration of something that has to do with absolutely everything else. Architecture, which has been very important in the life of the world for centuries, no longer has the place it used to have in the affairs of countries, in the affairs of the country's leaders," said Rama. /CNA
