Rama "in delirium"/ People trust us more than others for salary

Prime Minister Edi Rama has emphasized that the increase of the minimum wage in Albania by 400 thousand ALL is not a decision that did not come as a result of the election campaign.

According to him, the time had come for salaries to increase even though his opponents do not believe it, but Rama "in chastity" emphasized that this is not a problem since it is the people who trust the government.

“Rritja e pagës minimale sot 40 mijë leke u diktua nga kjo. Nuk e kishim programuar pagën minimale. Shumë njerëz komentojnë që thonë duhet të jetë 800-900, duhet të jetë 1200. Problemi nuk është dëshira, kapaciteti që ka tregu dhe ekonomia për ta mbajtur.

The minimum wage has a logic, but on the other hand, we could not continue with the program that was not foreseen. The war in Ukraine has a very big connection. Under these conditions, we could not help but react. 38 thousand ALL was the maximum of electoral programs. In April, it becomes 40 thousand ALL. This has nothing to do with campaigns. We don't have to raise wages to win elections. People trust us more than they trust others. The minimum wage has increased so it's time to give everyone a boost. Real salaries in Albania are higher than those declared", said Rama./ CNA.al
