Rama: Fatos Nano were political convicts

Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the conviction of former Prime Minister Fatos Nano during his speech to Albanians in New York.

As he stopped at the Justice Reform, Rama said that Fatos Nano was politically punished.

According to him, at the time when the former president of the SP was sentenced, justice was ordered and manipulated by the party in power.

"Never before in our history has a high-profile political individual been investigated, tried or convicted by a court not controlled by politics.
