Former MP Lefter Maliqi said today that for the opposition, the race for the Municipality of Tirana is very easy to win.
Invited to A2CNN, Maliqi explained that the reason behind this is that Prime Minister Edi Rama is a politically rotten figure, and the government he leads is also covered in crime.
Maliqi said that Democratic Leader Sali Berisha has the necessary political maturity to decide for the opposition in the race for Tirana.
"In Tirana, it is easy to win the municipality, because Rama has been politically rotten by scandals and crimes, the de facto government has been covered by crime. Tirana has been concreted and there are no parks. So any DP candidate who is appointed will be facing the Minister of Covid. I think that Berisha has great political maturity and Berisha doubts that elections will be held and is waiting for the elections to take final shape to act further", said Maliqi./CNA
