Prime Minister Edi Rama has spoken about the floods, considering it one of the biggest problems of this time not only in Albania but also in different countries of the world.

Invited to "Wake up", Rama said that the damage from the floods has been reduced due to the works and measures that have been taken.

In the specific case, Rama took Shkodra, where he said that the government has done a lot of work in Shkodra, but not in cooperation with the municipality, since according to the prime minister, the municipality of Shkodra has become an obstacle for many projects.

The Prime Minister mentioned the cases of water pipes and road construction, where Shkodër municipality has become an obstacle to their completion by not handing over the expropriation papers.

" There is less flood damage due to the measures that have been taken.

Floods are one of the biggest problems of this time.

We in Shkodër have had a barricade situation.

We have done work in Shkodra, but it was not connected with the Municipality of Shkodra.

We built the Shkodër-Velipoja road, which was a long-standing request.

It is a perfect tourist alpine road.

We are building the Shengjin-Velipoja road, but these are decisions that do not depend on the municipality, there are long delays, the municipality's obstacle is continuous. The municipality does not submit expropriation papers.

We have two water pipes and the work cannot start in Shirokë and Zogaj", said Rama./ CNA.al
