The advisor for economic issues in DP, Dorian Teliti, spoke about the government's decision to increase pensions by 4.1%.

According to Telit, there is no real increase in pensions as prices have increased by more than 4.1%.

Among other things, Teliti explained that the indexation being carried out by the government, which came into force on October 1, is partial.

"The government has declared the indexation of pensions to the extent of 4.1%, there is no real increase in pensions, on the contrary, this indexation according to the information we have, according to our lifestyle because we are also consumers, we know that during this year the prices have increased more than 4.1%.

So the figures declared by INSTAT government offices that our food basket has increased by 4.1%, are not real.

The government has decided that even the law that it is obliged to implement regardless of who is in government, to implement it partially.

So, first of all, we do not have a real increase in pensions, and even the indexation that is being carried out by the government, which came into force on October 1st, is also partial.

We are facing a situation where we have a citizen's alms, which in the city translates to an average of 250 old lek per day", said Teliti./ CNA
