Former Minister of Justice Ylli Manjani has commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's initiative to create a microstate within the capital.

According to Manjan this is a divisive topic and there is no other logic.

Manjani writes that Ramë is promoting the state within the state of Baba Mondi, a state of Muslims against Muslims and in envy of Christians.

"It is unimaginable how many states within the state, republics and principalities could be created in this poor country!

It is certain that Ed Rama would only be left with the state of Surrel.

Shkodra, Lezha, Mirdita, Mati, Tropoja, Durrësi, Kruja, Elbasani, Korça, Sarandë-Himarë-Dropulli, Vlorë-Tepelena and Berati, all of these have a tradition of self-government by themselves or with foreigners.
