The political leader of the Korca district, Niko Peleshi, together with the SP candidates for the 5 municipalities of Korca, issued a statement from the pink headquarters after the victory of the elections.

Peleshi said that the socialist candidates did not win in these elections, but the citizens of Korça.

He emphasized that he does not divide citizens because of political affiliation, as he emphasized that he sees the right and the left equally.

"We come here with a full score. We have won all 6 municipalities. We have a meaningful margin, our candidates have won by over 60%, or over 70%. However, I want to say from the beginning, not to lower the tone of the atmosphere here in Tirana, but for the sake of truth, none of us experience this victory as a triumph of some against some others.

This is not a triumph of ours against them, because in the end those who have won are our villages and cities. Citizens, regardless of their political affiliation, left or right, socialist or democrat, today have reason to be happy because we have run a very dignified campaign, we have not divided them", underlined the political leader of the SP./ CNA.al
