The political leader of Shkodër district, Elisa Spiropali, issued a statement to the media after the SP's deep victory in this district.

Spiropali thanked all socialist supporters and activists who participated in these elections.

Among other things, she expressed her belief that the mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, will keep his promise to turn Shkodra into the capital of the north.

"It is an honor for me to be the head of this district.
