Proposed Binaj for Tirana/ Berisha reveals how the other 5 municipalities will

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a statement to the media explained how the procedure will be followed for the 5 municipalities in the country for which there is still no name.

Berisha said that meetings have been held with political figures, referring to that of Bujar Leskaj in Vlora, but said that they will consider candidacies from Civil Society and citizens, and there is even an independent candidacy that has sent him a message and it will be considered even though time does not promise.

"The party is a party and in any case we had candidates in Tirana like Adriana Kalaja, a strong voice against Edi Rama's connections with crime, we had Klevis Balliu, Edi Paloka, a pillar of oppositionism. We have the greatest appreciation for them."

"In case independent candidates emerge from civil society and the citizens of Vlora, and I know they have, one has sent me a message and it will be considered. Time is very short, of course it will be discussed," said Berisha./ CNA
