Race for Tirana/ Former DP candidate: Here's which democrat could face Manastirliu

Former Democratic Party (DP) candidate for deputy, Ilirjana Kuçana, mentioned today a name from the Democratic Party that she believes could face the Socialist candidate for the Municipality of Tirana.

Invited to Euronews Albania, Kuçana said that this name could be Albana Vokshi.

Kuçana listed some of Vokshi's contributions to the DP and said that he is a figure who also has broad international support.

"I think that Albana Vokshi could be the opponent of Manastirliu, she is the most invested woman in the DP. She is the woman who holds 7 positions in the Democratic Party and since this trust has been given to her, I think we should return this trust to the Democrats. She also has international support, she is the vice president of the EPP and here we would probably have internationals supporting Mrs. Vokshi," said Kuçana ./CNA
