The point of blocking confiscated assets in Vlora/Koçiu is released:

Minister of Internal Affairs Albana Koçiu, together with Minister of Defense Pirro Vengu, were present in Vlora where a collection point for confiscated vehicles was liberated.

Koçiu said that this process is being implemented in cooperation between the State Police, the AAPSK, the State Material Reserves Directorate, municipalities and other institutions.

The Minister stated that these areas are intended to be turned into areas that can be used by local government.

 

" We are in the Narta area, it is one of the 24 blocking points across the country that the State Police uses for all confiscated and seized vehicles.

In fact, since the beginning of September, together with the AAPSK, we have launched a nationwide campaign to clean up all these points, which occupy a considerable area throughout the country, to systematize them, to select all those tools that have currently been stored for years. As you can see, they are completely out of function. The Agency, during this month, has done a commendable job by selecting and identifying all the tools that are located at these points, whether they are for scrap or for material evidence, and are mandatory to be kept by the State Police, as well as all those tools that may be for use and which, through a plan that the Agency has drafted, will be distributed to public institutions for use by them. "Following this surface cleaning campaign, what we are doing is transforming these areas into not only clean areas, but also into areas that local governments can use to draft development plans and turn communities into areas, playgrounds or entertainment for children, but also to be used by public institutions, for public purposes or interest ," said Koçiu.
