"He refused to be a party to corruption"/ Rama speaks about the

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his podcast "Flasim", focused on the presidential decree for local by-elections in Tirana and 5 other municipalities.

Focusing on the numerous discussions surrounding Begaj's decree, Rama said that those who discuss whether this decree is legitimate or not have neither the education nor the intellectual independence of Ilir Rusmal.

The Prime Minister said that the president's legal advisor, Ilir Rusmali, is a man who has refused to become a party to corruption and has resigned for his integrity.

 

" Those who discuss the legitimacy of the decree are not to blame, because they have neither the education nor the intellectual independence of Ilir Rusmal, the legal advisor to the President and Minister of Justice of the Democratic Party who resigned solely for his integrity and refused to become a party to the corruption that degraded into a macabre tragedy that horrified Albania and shocked the world, not far from where I am speaking to you, somewhere in a place called Gërdec ," said Rama./CNA
