Progress report for Albania/ Rama: Superlatives for the country's progress in the integration process

Prime Minister Edi Rama has commented on the EU's progress report on Albania. In his podcast Flasim, Rama said that the EU has praised Albania's progress in the integration process.

"The EU progress report has praised Albania's unprecedented progress in the integration process, in opening 5 group chapters in just 11 months," said Rama.

The Prime Minister further expressed his conviction that in 2027, Albania will close negotiations for its integration into the EU.

"We hope that by the end of the year we will open the last group chapter. Remembering how some despised what I said that in 2027 we would close negotiations, telling me that this is an invention and has nothing to do with the EU, the progress report proves the opposite," he said./ CNA
