After Marta Kos, Rama on Berisha's accusations: Let the dogs bark, the caravan moves forward

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the statement of EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos following Berisha's accusations against EU Ambassador Silvio Gonzato.

Through a post on the X platform, Rama apologized for the accusations, saying that the EU ambassador was disfigured for a low purpose.

He ends the post with the proverb "Let the dogs bark, the caravan moves forward."

"We apologize for the offensive way in which a very noble law, fully in line with EU principles on gender equality and non-discrimination, has been misused to distort public perception, as well as for the way in which the EU Ambassador has been used for such a low purpose. However, as we say in Albanian, let the dogs bark, the caravan moves forward," Rama wrote./ CNA
