The Democratic Party Parliamentary Group submits to the Assembly the request for the establishment of an Investigative Committee of the Assembly to verify the legality of the actions of Albanian officials in relation to former FBI agent Charles McGonigal.
According to the letter that the DP has filed with the Assembly, the committee is required to have as its object of activity:
1.Verifying the legality of the actions of Albanian officials in relation to former agent Charles McGonigal;
2.Assessment of the need to take measures, including legal interventions through the adoption, correction or supplementation of legislation
The Commission is proposed to consist of 11 (eleven) members, of whom the chairman and 4 members belong to the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party and 6 members to the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party.
The duration of the commission's activity is expected to be 6 months.
