Fiscal Peace/ Rama: Forgiveness for enterprises with arrears

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that the fiscal package foreseen in the upcoming budget will open a new chapter between entrepreneurship and the tax administration.

Rama said that the Fiscal Peace promoted during the electoral process is designed to strengthen cooperation between entrepreneurship and the tax administration.

The government's number one stated that the process will be carried out in two forms. Forgiveness will be offered to all enterprises with arrears.

What will this forgiveness be like:

A-Full write-off of unpaid tax liabilities belonging to periods older than 10 years recorded in the tax accounts of entities

B-Writing of 50% of the liabilities for the period of 5-10 years if the remaining amount is paid at once within a specified period along with the cancellation of fines and interests.

C-20% cancellation of liabilities if amounts are paid in installments within one year

D-Waiver of fines and late payment interest for 5-10 years provided that the fee or contribution for the same period is paid.
