The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting with farmers in Gjergjan, Elbasan today. In his speech, Berisha emphasized the DP's program for agriculture.

Berisha said that a special fund will be created to protect production from natural disasters and in case of overproduction, the farmer will be rewarded with the base price.

Berisha accused the government of having a strange habit, which he called the doctrine of deception.

"We will establish a state development bank, with which you will receive soft credit lines. The state will pay 80% of the interest for you."

Anyone in need will be addressed there with their business plan and project, and the government will cover 80% of the interest.

The government will create a special fund to protect you from natural disasters and to reward you with the base price of products that can be destroyed by weather and other factors. But the government will also protect you from overproduction.

Overproduction happens, even in this case absolutely, any overproduction will be rewarded at the base price, so that you and the farmers are not threatened with bankruptcy.
