Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the meeting of the UN General Assembly two days ago, presented the idea of ??a Bektashi state within the Albanian territory, according to a model similar to that of the Vatican in Italy.

The representatives of the Alevi-Bektash Federation from Turkey, in the published statements, say that Bektashism and the "religious state" are incompatible concepts with each other.

"Bektashism is a belief system originating in Turkey. However, in Albania about 115,000 Bektashi believers, and this represents 5% of the population of Albania.
