"PD will get fewer votes than in 1997"/ Berisha challenges Rama: You will suffer defeat like Ramiz Alia

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, responded to the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama that the opposition will receive fewer votes than in 1997.

Berisha said on Çim Peka's show that this will not happen.

On the contrary, he claimed that the SP will suffer a deep defeat in the parliamentary elections, like that of Ramiz Ali in 1992.

"The PD got those votes after the peak of the clashes, and from that time until now, the PD has had the most successful process of its unification. Today, I am sure that it is the main opposition party in the country and I am sure that in free and fair elections, it reserves for Edi Rama the defeat that he gave to Ramiz Ali in 1992", emphasized the chairman of the Democratic Party./ CNA
