Argita Berisha Malltezi, the daughter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, was asked this evening if she will run for deputy on the DP lists.

Argita Malltezi said in a TV appearance that she currently has no ambitions or plans to run in the elections.

However, she did not rule out the possibility of competing as an MP in the future, as she emphasized that one must prove oneself in relation to the voters.

"I've said one thing, that I don't plan to race just if I'm going to do it as a reaction. Then I am, and I think that one must prove oneself in relation to the voters. I don't know how it works in detail and I don't have any complex about it.

I am honored by this struggle and the ambition that I can take. At the moment I have no ambition to enter politics. Of course, politics has always been a part of me. I remain a DP activist. The issue of engagement in politics will be taken up when with complete calmness", stressed Argita Berisha Malltezi./ CNA
