Prime Minister Edi Rama will start a Balkan tour tomorrow, where the focus will be on the future of the "Open Balkans" initiative.

The tour is scheduled to take place on July 6 and 7. The head of the government will meet with counterparts and representatives of the governments of North Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia.

The tour will start from Skopje, North Macedonia, where Rama will meet Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski and then travel to Pristina, Kosovo, where he is expected to meet President Vjosa Osmani.

On Friday, he will go to Podgorica, Montenegro, to talk with Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic, to Belgrade, Serbia for President Aleksandar Vu?i? and to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he is expected to meet the head of the Council of Ministers, Borjana Kriston .

Among the most interesting meetings are those in Kosovo and Serbia, which come at a time of conflict between the two states, where Rama intervened with a proposal.

The head of the Albanian government has put forward the idea of ??an international conference for Kosovo and Serbia, as a solution to the tensions between the two states, a proposal that was rejected by Albin Kurti./ CNA.al
