The serial failure of Albanian politics, Lulzim Basha, who has known nothing but defeat for as long as he was in charge of the DP, has begun to see "dreams with his eyes open".

After scoring successive defeats, dividing and getting the Democrats into trouble, Basha is seeing illusions, which he is expressing at electoral meetings.

The opposition leader, who woke up after a long lethargic sleep, lied to Divjaka's democrats today with the promise that he will reorganize the DP and modernize it.

Also, Basha promised that he will open the right for people who think like him.

Basha's statement:

The Democratic Party is being reorganized to be at the service of the silent majority of Albanians and their instrument to change this political system that no longer represents them.

The Democratic Party will modernize, renew its ranks and open to all those who have the same values ??as us:

For our alliance with strategic partners;

For the uncompromising fight against corruption;

To clean up politics and to give power to Albanians to elect their representatives.

The Civic Alliance for Democracy will shape a reformist majority starting with:

Open lists;

Vetting in politics;

Limitation of mandates;

The vote of the diaspora.

With the support of the Democrats, my responsibility will be to extend the hand of cooperation to anyone who believes in these values. With these transformations we aim to increase the control and accountability mechanisms of the government, regardless of who runs it.

For this reason:

We must change the wording of the Motion of confidence and that of no confidence;

The number of ministries and the increase of the Public Debt should be made by law by the Parliament;

Removing political control over administration employees, giving them job security;

The direct election of the President by the people, as the bearer and balancer of power.

We must do everything to give strength and power to the citizens so that they can decide on their future, giving them back their trust in votes and politics!/ CNA.al
