Prime Minister Edi Rama quoted the 42nd president of the USA, Bill Clinton, during the speech at the reception ceremony in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

Rama recalled Bill Clinton's speech on March 24, 1999 and mentioned the former president's contribution to the liberation of Kosovo.

"Clinton would not have found allies for the liberation of the Balkans from the last dictator, not only Blair, but also the left wing of England, together with the conservative leaders of Spain, were the key five that enabled Clinton to make the historic decision of NATO -s for the realization of the liberation of Kosovo and the opening of a new era, for this neighborhood known as the power of gunpowder in the heart of Europe.

We Albanians have had the privilege of directly experiencing the chilling force of Clinton's speech on March 24, 1999 when he addressed the whole world, 'Today our Armed Forces, together with our NATO allies, participated in airstrikes against Serbian forces, which are responsible for the brutality practiced in Kosovo. That speech is for the history of Kosovo and our region a defined stone of the road to the future", said Rama./ CNA.al+
