The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has congratulated the Albanians and the citizens of Elbasan for the March 14 holiday.

Through a post on social networks, Berisha says that "Summer Day" this year, more than anything else, inspires change for the better on May 14.

Berisha emphasizes that this holiday symbolizes the goodness of spring, change and hope for better times.

Dear friends, today the citizens of Elbasan and all Albanians celebrate Summer Day as their most ancient and popular holiday.

On this day, people celebrate the change of weather, the coming out of winter into spring, the blooming of flowers and the blossoming of nature. Summer Day is therefore a day of spring goodness, change and hope for better times.

Summer's Day this year more than anything inspires change for the better on May 14.
