The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has reacted regarding the spread of small cattle plague in several regions of the country.

He described the situation as a catastrophe for Albanian livestock and evidence of state irresponsibility towards vital sectors.

According to him, the lack of vaccination is unjustifiable and constitutes an economic and social crime against farmers.

Meta also accused the government of pursuing a deliberate strategy of destruction.

 

"The small cattle plague is a catastrophe for livestock, a vital sector left to the mercy of fate and already ruined by the lack of subsidies. The solution is simple: vaccination, which is not being carried out.
With just 3 euros, 100 doses of vaccine can be purchased, or with 30 thousand euros, less than a bottle of wine that the Republic of Albania drinks a day, an entire sector can be saved, all the herds, stables and farms built with much effort and sacrifice, which risk being exterminated only due to the irresponsibility of a Government, which, in parallel with the depopulation of Albania, is also depopulating livestock ," writes Meta./ CNA
