Nuri: The May 11 elections are more manipulated than in 2021 and 2023

The legal representative of the Democratic Party at the Central Election Commission, Franc Nuri, accused that in the May 11 elections there was a much greater degree of manipulation than in 2021 and 2023.

Invited to 'Syri TV', Nuri said that the DP's goal in the appeals process is for all irregularities to be recorded, noted and evidenced in the minutes.

"We have requested for the Tirana district, the invalidity of the elections, their repetition, as the first and second point.

The third point was the eventual re-evaluation and recount.

So if such irregularities were found, which would then require a re-evaluation of the votes, this process would be carried out.
Based on the requests of various candidates who had brought evidence and indications of various irregularities, we requested both of these for the districts of Tirana, Durrës, Elbasan, Fier… more or less these areas.

And for the sake of the process, the KAS does not express itself on the invalidity, but says: wait, and says we will express ourselves at the end when we close the entire appeal process, but today since you are requesting both the reassessment and the recount, we are then interrupting the appeal process, we are opening these boxes, we are looking at them, we are examining them, thanks to the evidence related to the appeal process.

And we, as the DP, want all irregularities to be noted, noted, and documented in the minutes. For example, are the security seals not in order, were there other seals, now are there other seals, other security codes, or other security codes, or are there no opening minutes?

Our goal is to have all boxes seen and scanned, so that every link can be seen from beginning to end.

In the 2025 elections, I have the impression that we have a much greater degree of manipulation than in 2021, and in 2023.
