"To be held accountable"/ Nuri: Transparency for the electoral farce

The legal representative of the Democratic Party, Franc Nuri, stated today that responsibility must be held for the errors in the data from the review of the CEC's election materials from May 11. 

In a television interview, Nuri stated that the Democratic Party is interested in full transparency about the electoral farce in Tirana.

"The CEC representatives who are reviewing the materials just replied to the Mundesia representative that you have 23 votes. So in the official CEC data there are 30 votes while in the box there are 23 votes. So 7 votes have been added to the calculation made by the CEC. 7 votes narrow the difference by 49 votes. So there is a rhythm that will run parallel. We will follow all the votes carefully, whether for the DP, the SP, or Mundesia. That's why the boxes need to be opened. You cannot trust the official data that the CEC has posted online. We are interested in full transparency about the electoral farce in Tirana. It is enough to see the first boxes in Tirana and we see the differences. And these are not human errors, as the CEC justifies. Sooner or later someone must be held responsible for these errors", - said Nuri. /CNA
