Recount in Tirana/Këlliçi district: SP gained votes illegally

The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, who is closely following the recount of votes in the Tirana district, has stated that the process is moving very slowly.

During the recount of several ballot boxes, according to Këlliç, it was found that the SP received illegal votes, meaning that the commissioners added 27 votes to the SP.

He emphasizes that if this trend continues, it is inevitable that there will be a large amount of stolen votes from the SP in the Tirana district.

"So far, the process is moving at a very low, very slow pace, and for at least the next two weeks it is expected that we will still be in the recount process. So far, in 14 boxes it has been evidenced that the SP has illegally obtained 17 votes, so the commissioners have added 27 votes to the SP. Elsewhere, invalid votes or votes from another entity have been added. If this trend continues in the 1,282 boxes in total, it is inevitable that we will have a large amount of stolen votes from the SP in the Tirana district," said Këlliçi.

Among other things, Këlliçi emphasizes that, so far, the DP has had its votes taken away and stolen.

"Without a doubt, the DP has had its votes taken away and stolen so far. 4 votes have been taken away as a subject, and we will continue to follow up box by box. This is a process that is also being followed online by the DP structures and on the CEC website.

The main focus is to document every irregularity and obtain a 14th mandate in the capital, within the electoral farce that took place on May 14.

Today, with the evidence that the DP has made public of the same citizen voting 3-4 times in Elbasan, the turning of ballot boxes upside down to remove the ballot and "verify" the will of the citizens according to the footage published by Mr. Berisha, the indisputable facts of pressure during the voting day, as well as the case of the Bulgarian train in Peqin where voting was done with a single ballot that was removed, show that this process has occurred in parallel in all regions of Albania.

All these facts are enough to show that on May 14 there was no election, but an electoral farce. An electoral state that works on election day to organize a grand masquerade, just to deceive public and international opinion that Albania has a functional democracy with regular elections. This is just to give this majority four more years to steal the country, and for Rama to continue being the prime minister of the poorest country in Europe, while traveling by private jet, attending billionaires' weddings and drinking bottles of wine that cost 33 thousand euros a day.

Meanwhile, our focus, within this masquerade, is to protect every vote. We will fight vote by vote to get the 14th mandate in Tirana, which belongs to Ilir Alimehmet, and we will undoubtedly fight to highlight any irregularities.

We have heard about a SPAK Task Force to investigate electoral crimes. It has been a week since Mr. Berisha has been vocally and visibly denouncing vote theft and the people who organized it, but nothing has happened. SPAK does not exist. The Task Force does not exist. It is simply an alibi to enter bureaucratic reports, to receive their international salaries and to continue their "fun" in the formal reports they make about Albania.
