Lack of teachers/ Rama finds the solution in pensioners

Mayor Edi Rama called on retired teachers to help the education system with their experience, especially in vocational schools.

During his speech at the inauguration of the new school "Babë Dudë Karbunara", in Berat, Rama indirectly accepted the lack of qualified personnel in the education system, seeing the solution in professionals who are already retired.

"It is an encouragement and inspiration every time I meet retired teachers, that they have energy and passion that is a little difficult to read in teachers who are still active, maybe also due to the fact of the daily workload.

On the other hand, I believe I am right when I try to argue with my fellow ministers, whether of education or economics, who deal with vocational education, that we have many retired teachers who we can invite to engage with reduced hours in a special concern related to the supervision and the ease that should have in terms of communication the work process of vocational education students in the enterprise, as part of the dual system, which we are deepening, and which is a necessity to given more and faster qualified labor market arms.

We are working on the data that enables us now to start the integration of pensioners in the space of this economic growth, so that they too begin to feel step by step towards Albania 2030 what is sensitive in the budget of teachers' families as of today they have an average salary of 950 euros, a salary that is already at the level of the most advanced countries in the region, which creates premises for teachers to demand more from themselves and us from them", declared Rama./ CNA
