Rama trusted the Diaspora/ Balla: The most difficult challenge for the elections

Taulant Balla will be the political leader of the SP for the Diaspora. This is the new task that the Prime Minister gave him today in the Assembly.

After taking office, Balla reacted on social networks saying that he feels very motivated as the challenge that awaits him is the most difficult for the 2025 elections.

"Very motivated to reunite with the members of the National Assembly, elected by our structures in the diaspora. A greeting to those thousands of compatriots in Greece and Italy, for the big meetings in the spring with Prime Minister Rama.

For the first time next spring, Albanians outside the borders will be able to vote from the place where they live and work, thanks to the sealing of this right in the Electoral Code approved by the Assembly of Albania a few weeks ago.

Diaspora Albanians have been the biggest contributors to the national economy for 33 years and finally the day has come to exercise the right to elect members of the Assembly and for the leadership of Albania.

Albania is your home not only to help but also to vote and if they don't come to vote here, in spring 2025 they will send the vote by mail to decide together as a big family who and how they should direct and follow the affairs of our common homeland.

Two words about this new task in my political family, the Socialist Party.

I started my career in SP as an ordinary member in September 1994 (almost 30 years ago) and step by step I have received so much support from this party and its voters, culminating in the last elections, an honor that I only want to I give back every day with all my strength.

As I have said other times, I have never loved and will never love those who forget where they started from and do not look at how many years and how much work is still ahead.

Today I was entrusted with another important task as Political Leader of the largest party of all Albanians, wherever Albanians live around the world.

I feel even more motivated than ever because the challenge is the most difficult for the spring elections.
