Prime Minister Edi Rama, for the first time, appointed 3 political leaders for the SP in the district of Tirana.

The largest district, which was led by the mayor Erion Veliaj, will now be led by 3 people.

Rama announced that Elisa Spiropali and Ogerta Manastirliu will also be in Tirana.

"The district of Tirana is not only the district with the longest list of candidates, which will produce the largest number of deputies more than in the previous elections, but also a district where the mosaic of municipalities that make it up needs for special attention and organization. Therefore, Elisa Spiropali, Erion Veliaj, Ogerta Manastirliu will share the burden of the political direction of the Tirana district", declared the head of the government.

This news was not received well by Veliaj, as it is seen as a punishment for the mayor and a lack of confidence.
