Prime Minister Edi Rama explained the issue of lists for the parliamentary elections during his speech at the SP Congress.

Rama said that deputies with 1 mandate will be on the closed list, those with more than one mandate will be on the open list. Also, the closed list will include young people and specific secretaries.

Out of 187 candidates, 140 will be listed in the open list and 47 in the closed list.

"Based on the new electoral law, the members of our representative will be 187, 140 of them on the open list and 47 on the closed list of the party. It is appropriate to share with you that today the best thing is that the deputies with more than 1 mandate, without excluding the political leaders of the districts where I personally belong, should be in open competition, while in the closed list they can only be few of them who will have specific coordinating tasks such as the general secretary, or the new political leader of the diaspora. The main part of the closed list will be deputies with only one mandate and young men and women", declared the head of the government./ CNA
