"Don't waste time, vote"/ Këlliçi calls on Democrats

The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, emphasized that the Primaries process is progressing excellently with Democrats who have expressed an extraordinary interest in electing candidates for the elections on May 11. Këlliçi added that the Primaries process will serve to further strengthen the Democratic Party.

"I call on all democrats not to waste time, to go to the voting center as they must participate in the process by expressing their will for the candidate they like. There is an extraordinary interest so far. There is talk of a figure of around 4200 voters who have voted at the district level throughout Tirana in the 5 municipalities, Tirana, Kamëz, Rogozhinë and Vora.

There is a high number of participants also because the number of candidates who have expressed interest in becoming part of the race is high, there are 82 candidates who are in the race today. All the polling stations that we are monitoring all the time have queues of voters and this is very good news.

It is an extraordinary exercise carried out by the Democratic Party and a case of strengthening the DP, which itself chooses the candidates who want to be representatives, and so far no incidents have been reported, including sporadic technical cases that are passable.

"I call on all Democrats not to waste time, to go to the voting center as they must participate in the process, all you need is a membership card, an ID or passport, and the moment you find your name on the voting list, you are invited to express your will for the candidate you like," said Këlliçi. /CNA
