The Special Prosecutor's Office will send letters to the USA, for more information regarding the investigations that have been launched for the former president Ilir Meta.

According to Ora NeWs, the Special Prosecutor's Office will also request information from lobbying companies about the payments made by LSI.

As part of this investigation, Meta and other people who know about the lobbying are expected to be called to testify.

SPAK is currently investigating the head of the PL for two criminal offences, for "passive corruption" under Article 259 of the Criminal Code and "falsification of forms" under Article 190 of the Criminal Code.
