"The majority does not want debate in parliament", Bylykbashi: They

The Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party, Oerd Bylykbashi, stated this evening that the majority does not want a debate in the plenary sessions.

Bylykbashi told News24 that the Parliament has become a mechanism for closing the floor by closing the plenary session. He further added that in addition to parliamentary debate, the opposition also uses protests and other actions as a form of political reaction.

"In Parliament, the majority does not want debate. Yesterday was the second time I spoke. I have asked to speak in every session, but I was not given the opportunity. They have turned the removal of the floor into a mechanism by closing the session. We have the parliamentary debate as a powerful instrument, but not only that. We have protests, other actions, various forms of political reaction.

The leadership of the Parliament with Speaker Niko Pelesh is problematic. It is understood that Rama gives orders. The Speaker of the Assembly is the number two of the Republic and must guarantee the balance of the parliamentary process. When the session closed yesterday, voting was also closed and the right to speak was taken away from the deputies who had issues on the agenda. The regulation is being openly violated. It is obvious that the orders come from the head of the SP parliamentary group. ", said Bylykbashi.  /CNA
