The political leader of the Democratic Party for the Tirana region, Belind Këlliçi, has reacted to his report against Maznik and the latter's questioning. 

Këlliçi writes that a few weeks ago he gave his testimony as a prosecutor at the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, regarding this matter.

" A few weeks ago I appeared at the Tirana Prosecutor's Office to give my explanations as a whistleblower of a flagrant corruption affair, denounced during the 2023 electoral campaign.

This concerns the rehabilitation of "Xhon Belushi" street, during the late hours of the night, by Tirana Municipality employees and vehicles, while the tender procedure for the paving of this street remained open.

Information that came through informal channels indicated the preparation of an electoral massacre, which envisaged the paving of dozens of streets with electoral asphalt during the elections, the carrying out of fictitious tender procedures for these works, the fictitious payment of companies for unfinished work, and the use of lek from the Tirana Municipality budget for the massive purchase of votes in the elections.

Of course, after my live denunciation in the media and the capture of Tirana Municipality employees in flagrante delicto, with the municipality's funds and assets, this tender will be CANCELLED within 48 hours.

We immediately filed a criminal complaint with SPAK, for this unprecedented and previously unheard of corruption affair.

Apparently, SPAK decided to delegate this file, even though it implicated the highest officials of the Tirana Municipality, to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, for incompetence!

The questioning of one of the architects of the 5D corruption scheme shows once again that our report is based on facts and that the conductor of all the corrupt asphalt in the Municipality of Tirana during the 2023 election campaign bears the name and signature of Biftek Maznik!

SPAK took care to erase Maznik's signatures in most of the tenders awarded to the company of the 5 Directors. It also tried to hide Maznik's signatures on the electoral asphalt. It tried to hide his responsibilities for the Tirana Incinerator, Tirana DC and tens of millions of other euros stolen from the Tirana Municipality.

Today I take the opportunity to once again address a public appeal to SPAK, not to let the files of major corruption in the Municipality of Tirana dust.

No matter how much you try to pardon Bifteku, his end is known!

Just as Nesti Angoni was found for the legal liquidation of Erion Veliaj, another Nesti will be found as soon as Mazniku finishes his electoral service in the Elbasan region!

The state party has already made the decision.
